About Me

Hello! We are Evan and Erika and we live in northern New England where we and our little community are in love with food and its capacity to connect us to the earth and to each other. We grow vegetables, raise goats and cows, hunt and forage. We offer all the food we can as gifts are very into practicing sharing - sharing food, space, work, all of it. We are always exploring ways to live that honor this place.

=== WHEN HOSTING ===

We are most excited to host people who love food and nature in all its dimensions and are curious to get to know this forested, hilly, beautiful place. We always have projects for those who are interested to get involved in various ways, but your stay here could look any sort of way. Being willing to share some spaces, listen, and communicate directly is a must, but other than that we are flexible and willing to meet you where you are at. Please consider this a place where you can be yourself and be nourished, as we are.

=== WHEN BEING HOSTED ===

Erika and I love to travel and especially love to meet people who also love the land, and are willing to introduce us to the lands they love. We love to share in stories, jokes and activities, food and drinks! We love giving and receiving gifts of all types, and that applies to when we travel, too: we try to travel in a non-extractive way, and would only want to stay with you if you think it might be an enriching and healthy experience for you and your people.

We have lots of experience living closely with people and animals! and are practiced at making and receiving requests. We are generally flexible humans much more interested in acting from a place of care than following a strict travel plan, getting something out of a situation, or meeting our own expectations.

My partner Erika and I can share food gifts (brought with us), cooking, songs on the guitar, a deep curiosity for your place, lots of experience on farms and in gardens (put us to work!), as well as basic carpentry and other skills that we'd be happy to use to contribute.
