Was lucky when I was young my family took me traveling and camping a lot. Have since done by myself a couple times but now I just started a phd, so stuck in Perth for the next few years. But it's pretty nice here so no complaints ;)

Aside from that, I suppose the word 'why' dominates my life. Why are things the way they are, down to tiny details... So this curiosity keeps me learning/exploring. I guess that's why I'm a biologist too.
