Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Cleveland Heights, OH. I go to grad school in beautiful Houghton, Michigan at Michigan tech where I am studying Geology, specifically Natural Hazards. I'm in the Peace Corps Masters International program. I just got back from Ghana in December 2019 where I served as an agriculture volunteer in a small village of 200-300 people and helped farmers with projects and also ran the girls club at the school.
I enjoy traveling, outdoor activities but also just relaxing sometimes. I'm a very laid-back and go with the flow kinda guy and enjoy with cooking, bike repair, sewing, photography, art, wine making, and a bunch of other stuff.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a student with not a lot of money this seems like a great way to travel and meet new people. I would rather stay with someone who knows the area and make a relationship rather then stay alone in a hotel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My favorite past job was working at Adventure Mine in Greenland, Michigan which is in the Upper Peninsula in the middle of nowhere . Shameless plug: It's an old copper mine that was in operation from 1850 - 1920 and is amazing to tour I highly recommend it if you ever end up in the middle of nowhere Michigan. Family run, awesome gift shop and wonderful staff. I loved working there. http://www.adventureminetours.com/
