ABOUT ME

I love travel. I have a degree in Adventure Education with an emphasis in Education. I have taught in several schools and in at different ages and in different content areas. I love sharing my passion for exploration and learning with others. I have worked as a line cook and in food service for 10 years. I love food and cooking, sharing and preparing food for others is something I have always loved. I have worked in adventure tourism for 8 years as a raft guide and as a back country ski guide. My love for the outdoors and adventure blended with my curiosity for natural sciences has lead me to become a guide and an outdoor steward. I have grown up and continue to see the world through the eyes of an artist as I have practiced sculpting, pottery, glass blowing, painting, figure drawing and photography. My newest passions include foraging for wild/edible mushrooms and spear fishing.
My newest life goal is to learn how to sail.

PHILOSOPHY

LIVE THE LIFE YOU LOVE, LOVE THE LIFE YOU LIVE.... No one ever died saying, "I wish I had worked more more and had less fun". I have worked consistently since I was 15 and really feel stagnant when Im not working.I know how to enjoy my time off when it comes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couch surfing for the last 5 or so years off and on, both hosting and surfing but have never used "COUCH SURFING".
