About Me
Recent college graduate looking to do some traveling before I move to California in the fall! I really enjoy anything outdoors, especially hiking and rock climbing, reading, cooking and eating good food (vegan when possible), and exploring as much as I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm much more interested in seeing a city from a local's perspective rather than following what all the other tourists are doing. Couchsurfing is a great way to connect with locals on a personal level and see parts of a city or country that you would never know about otherwise

Music, Movies, and Books
Most of the books I read fall into Science Fiction or Nonfiction, some of my favorites including Ender's Game, Omnivore's Dilemma, The Left Hand of Darkness, and Devil in the White City. I try to read for a half hour a day minimum and love talking about what I and others have read
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Currently converting a van to live out of it in California!
Teach, Learn, Share
Am fluent in English and can definitely teach what I know, also have been working hard to improve my cooking skills in the last year (especially vegan/vegetarian cooking) and would love to pass on what I do know.
Looking to make new friends in places that I haven't been before
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am far more interested in experiencing a new place as a local, and would rather go to my host's favorite cafe over the touristy spots any day. I have a lot of energy and am excited to experience a city however the host wants to share it, but am also very independent and have no problem keeping myself entertained and busy if a host just has no time to dedicate to me
