ABOUT ME

My goal through this site is to understand other cultures (especially my own), which means to learn to appreciate the food, history, and lifestyles of people and "why people do what they do."

My goal in general is to make other people as happy as I am. I've recently been given the opportunity to travel so I'm taking every chance I get to do so. I'm Portland-friendly combined with Ohio-quirky. It's an amazing combination, really.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Friends of an acquaintance introduced me to the idea. I'm still relatively new to this and am trying to balance hosting and surfing. I've heard great things and am looking forward to meeting more people in this community!

Music, Movies, and Books

I recently re-read 1984 for the first time since high school. I enjoyed it when I was younger, but it's a lot more.....scary now that I read it.

When it comes to music...well I enjoy everything. Almost everything electronic (trap/dub-step), hip-hop, indie rock, pop, rap, country, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumping into a freezing cold lake year after year because of a school tradition, sharing the experience of a lifetime with 300,000 other people at a music festival
