About Me

CURRENT MISSION

***NOT ACCEPTING OVERNIGHT GUESTS RIGHT NOW***

However, I would love to show (fully vaccinated) couchsurfers hikes around Portland! I'm looking to add 'nature guide' to my side hustles, and this is a great way for me to build up experience and connect with travelers.

I can offer to show you hikes inside Portland (within 20 mins of the city center), all along the Columbia River Gorge (lots of waterfall hikes!), hikes between Portland and the coast, and, if time permits, hikes up in Washington (like Mt St Helens). Any ability level is fine! I'm fairly knowledgable of the native plants and animals and the geography/geology of the Pacific Northwest, although if you have a degree in botany I'll be the one asking *you* the questions :)

Afterwards, we can BBQ in my yard or just part ways! (Still not accepting any overnight guests- in fact no outside guests are allowed inside the house at all for now.)

I have a car and can drive up to 4 people.

I went to Machu Picchu and left a piece of buried treasure for a girl and made a treasure map; a few months later she went to Machu Picchu with her friend and used the map to find it!
