I am taking some time to explore the world and experience the American West and abroad! I love to play music, and go hard in the mountains. Rock climbing is currently my primary passion and is fueling my adventures at the moment. Hopefully this winter will provide some snow to play on too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and travel on a budget so I can extend my journey for as long as possible before having to return reluctantly to the work force! I find that the best way to experience a new place is to plug in to the community. What better way than couchsurfing?!?!?

Right now I'm obsessed with this guy Nick Mulvey who is an amazing songwriter/guitarist, I'm reading a book called "The Art of Racing in the Rain" which is written from the point of view of a dog who's owner is a professional race car driver. It's pretty great actually!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'll list two:

1. Climbed technical alpine rock routes in the Sierra.

2. Played music in front of thousands of people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach or play guitar, drums, keys, whatever with you, I have a really cool dog named Slade who travels with me and I can teach you how to rock climb if you're a noob or we can rope up and slay if you are an experienced climber! I also love to cook and am known to make some pretty delicious, yet very simple meals.
