I grew up on a farm and ranch in a small town in Northeast Missouri. After university, I moved back to the same area and worked as an Environmental Engineer to keep the streams and rivers healthy by assisting wastewater treatment facilities stay within EPA pollution limits. For the last three years I have been taking a break from engineering to work as an English language assistant in primary schools in Spain.
