About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Hitchiking to Berlin and back in record time, while taking the scenic route. While I'm at it, I would love to meet some like-minded people through CS :)
My long-term mission is to get fluent in Japanese and Russian, which I study intensively. Moving to Moscow in February, and looking forward to total language immersion!
ABOUT ME
Young Frenchie trying to get the best out of continental Europe over the mid-term break, studying public policy in Sciences Po the rest of the time. My goal is to travel without taking the plane for the next five years, which led me to travel on the Trans-siberian railway to come back from Japan, where I lived for a year.
When I'm not knee-deep in books about environmental policy reform, you'll find me playing board games (I promise, Scrabble can be thrilling), dancing in a jazz bar, or indoor climbing!
I also love the outdoors and nature conservation, foraging, and mushroom hunting when I manage to get out of Paris :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN couchsurfing
I have hosted two couchsurfers in London, which was great! Really want to host more but currently living with my parents, so not ideal...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfing is one of the highlights of my travels, met one of my best friends that way! From Sarajevo to Wroclaw, hosts have gone above and beyond to make whatever city I'm in lively, exciting and welcoming. One of my hosts has become a very good friend and I've been back to Istanbul to spend the Christmas break with him.
Interests
So many! My main passions are history, economics and learning languages. However, I branch out on pretty much anything, I'm pretty open! Visiting museums is one of my favorite activities to do while abroad. Also, going to concerts and finding the strangest places in town to visit (and I can only count on you to show me around!).
Learning new languages or practicing them, especially German, is something I love to do instead of sticking to English.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've crossed Russia on the Trans-Siberian for a guy. Didn't work out but would definitely do it all over again, all of the 9700km.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I hope to share lovely French and Japanese recipes with hosts. A perfect board game partner, will play anything from Scrabble to the Settlers of Catan.
