its a great network, and even though everyone on it is sooo different, they all share a common interest in helping, learning, sharing etc. its not hard to see why people say that it makes them believe in the goodness of people. im not 100% sure how im going to participate, but i definately want to host people and show them around my home town...

Music, Movies, and Books

well, in no particular order, the killers, tool, groove armada, the strokes, afi, we are scientists, the smiths, the rakes, cog, jeff buckley, i am kloot, system of a down, portishead, rammstein, chemical brothers, lagwagon, led zeppelin, the cure, weezer, kings of leon, something with numbers, project 86, less than jake, rx bandits, audioslave, mr bungle, coheed & cambria, doves, john butler trio, primus...the list can go on. it wont. i like music:-D

books. well, i can read and occasionally do, but nothing i could mention is of note. i dont really like fantasy though. i guess i like stories grounded in reality.

movies. yeah well, i do like movies of all sorts except horror. having said that, i saw 'alien' recently and man its was awesome. im yet to see 'aliens', but i hear that its right up there as a legendary action film. a few other favourites are the big lebowski, the big blue, the three clours trilogy, pulp fiction (is that too cliche?), zoolander, fellowship of the ring, taxi driver, goodfellas...not the kind of things you can think of off the top of your head though....
