PHILOSOPHY

I am some sort of religious Jew, meaning I keep kosher and Shabbat and such, but I'm not so good at being spiritual. The most religious experience I had recently was at a Leonard Cohen concert in 2008, so I guess that says a lot about me. My personal philosophy is a combination of existentialism, Jewish thought, and Zen philosophy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting new people and will want to take advantage of couch surfing when I travel through Europe as well.

Interests

I teach Ballroom and Latin dance, so I love dancing in all forms. Learning a new dance in a style I didn't know is one of my favorite things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the moment that left me most awestruck was the first time I held my best friend's baby in my hands. He was so tiny and I felt that I wanted to help him and protect him in every way that I could. The feeling of responsibility and fear were almost overwhelming, but also really exciting.
