Overview
About Me
An adventurer at heart, a bit anti-establishment, and an INTJ.
I believe that we're all capable of great things, if only we are encouraged to achieve them. It's important to not let the world stifle your dreams or calling.
My hobbies include cycling, backpacking, sewing, ham radio, photography, videography, writing, reading, and building things. I like to cook as well, but I'm not very good at it.
I don't smoke or do drugs, and I rarely drink. I'm a square, I suppose, but I prefer it this way.
I have a particular love for self-sustained, long-distance journeys. Thru-hiking, cross-country bicycle tours, epic kayak trips, etc. I also have a great appreciation for van-dwelling, and lived in my van for 2 1/2 years.
I've hiked the Bruce Trail in Ontario, the Nakasendo trail in Japan, the Pacific Crest Trail form Canada to Mexico, the Maclehose trail in Hong Kong, and many others. I've ridden a bicycle from New York to Toronto many times, from Niagara Falls to Rhode Island, and from Nova Scotia to Niagara Falls.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe in being good to people, and I think that it's important to interact with your fellow humans in an age where being isolated has never been easier. I also love being a tour guide for people who have never been in my area, and I love being led by locals to places I'd have never seen otherwise.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I really like Dance/Techno/Trance(Though I hate clubs/parties), old school hip-hop, and anything with good lyrics.
Movies: I like documentaries and action/adventure stuff. My favorites are Munich, V for Vendetta, Ghost in the Shell, Forest Gump, and the James Bond movies.
Books: Anything by Isaac Asimov. I like Dostoevsky, Phillip Pullman(Really only for the Golden Compass trilogy), and Douglas Adams. I like books about Psychology, Action/Adventure, Science, and all that swords n' sorcery stuff.
