Hmm... I seem to move a lot. I'm really silly and like to make stupid jokes all the time, I love watching movies, going out, coffee, beer, reading, meeting new people...

PHILOSOPHY

The present can be pretty consuming so I try not to worry too much about the past or the future and just focus on what I can do to make myself happy right now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've mostly just met up with local people when I'm traveling in a place and they showed me around town or we went out for some beers. I got a ride to the airport once which was pretty sweet.

Interests

Above all my favorite thing is traveling, I love the beach and the sun and seeing new places and people. The things that make my life engaging are definitely the people that are in it like my family and friends. I like to try new foods and watch movies and read. I spent most of my time in the last 6 years studying and traveling up until last year when I graduated from grad school. This year I moved to Mexico to teach English to little kids and so far that's taken up most of my time when I'm not traveling on breaks.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to movies I'm not very picky I basically love all of them, indie movies are probably my favorite I also love foreign films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow this is kind of hard... I think the 2 most amazing things/places I've been to so far were both in Brazil. One was Iguazu Falls, its this gigantic set of waterfalls set in a half bowl shape in the jungle and it's a huge park full of butterflies and monkeys and toucans. It was the most beautiful place I've ever been to. The other was Rio de Janeiro one of the scariest and most exciting cities I've ever been. Its this crazy mix of civilization and nature. They have massive beautiful parks all around the city and some of the world's most beautiful beaches butted up against huge buildings and poverty and millions of people. It had a rhythm that I haven't felt in any other city I've been to.
