ABOUT ME

I grew up in Portland, ME. I spent a year in New York City and now reside with my girlfriend and two cats in a small town in Western Massachusetts. There are few things I like more than to be in the woods. Much of my free time is spent recording music at home or reading and listening to records with a glass of scotch. I have only traveled to Eastern Canada and inside the contiguous US and am anxious to travel further abroad.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Books - Mostly non-fiction about history or natural science in the vein of Edward Abbey, Peter Matthiessen, Colin Tudge, though Haruki Murakami is an all-time favorite.

Movies - a few favorites are 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Good The Bad and The Ugly, Lord of the Rings, The Thin Red Line, The Thing and lots of old cult films.

Music - my preferences are varied but I am particularly fond of classical, UK folk, soundtracks and electronic esp. ambient and house.
