I was born at a very early age. Since then, I've learned a lot about being alive and in an observable universe. I have long blonde hair. I play cello and other resonant things. I studied physics and engineering in college. All done. Now I'm figuring out what life is for. I'm pretty into housing co-operatives and haven't lived in a normal form or apartment in 6 years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because when I travel I want to meet people who have lived a different life from me, have a different perspective, but are open to sharing those differences with me. I was hosted in Turkey before and had great interactions with my hosts, and I look forward to hosting interesting people in my own home.

Interests

I like designing and building things that do things (electronics and software mostly). I love playing cello with other people, both jamming and chamber music. I love the outdoors, packing, climbing mountains, etc. I love playing Diplomacy!

I want to find a problem that I care about that I want to devote my life to solving and to find people to solve it with. It's a work in progress.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once took a very large piece of paper, folded it in half, and then carefully ripped into two pieces. Then I took each piece and ripped them into pieces. I repeated this process with successively smaller pieces for 4 hours until I had ripped the large piece of paper into 5096 pieces. I have had a blessed life and have had a lot of amazing experiences, but the best ones have been pretty mundane like a rainstorm during a fireworks display or a perfect fog on a hillside.
