I’m Evann, a young French Adventurer, travelling the world eastbound and eager to meet new people :)

I grew up on Reunion Island, a small paradise close to Madagascar. But yes, I’m still French :P Make sure you ask me about it, it’s amazing.

I am fond of personal growth and self discovery !
Through my readings, the people I met and my experiences I have evolved a LOT and I love to share what I feel can help people on their own path.

I am also very interested in spirituality and holistic health, including meditation, breathing practices, conscious eating, understanding patterns and coincidences. I did a chinese medicine and energy work training for 2 years.

I practice climbing and martial arts, along with many other mountain sports - I love being in nature.
I tend to swim in most mountain lake I pass by 😬
I practiced karate and aikido, and I’m looking to spend a couple of months somewhere in Asia to deepen my skills!

I also love languages. I speak fluently French, English and Russian, but I have decent basics of German and Spanish.
I used to find my way through some Chinese and Thai, but that was when I lived there !

I studied general engineering, and then went on a PhD in Switzerland 🇨🇭 in AI for computer vision. I’m quite good with computers and also love to code when I have a nice project in mind.

One of my favorite time of the day is sunset apéro - ideally with wine, olives, and a partner in crime.

I try to live life going with the flow, trusting the process, acknowledging the impermanence.

I recently discovered Couchsurfing (May 2024) as I was starting my trip, and I’ve had great experiences with a couple of amazing hosts. Since then I kept spreading the word. In general I like to spend/host at least two nights so that we really have time to exchange.

I am currently on a long journey to discover the world, and myself in the process :) I have no end date for now.
