I'm currently a student at Washington State University and I am planning to finish up my Master's in Civil Engineering (structural focus) this spring. I also have a minor in German and love to get as much us as possible out of it - talk Deutsch to me!

When I'm not at school my favorite place to be is with a few good friends but I'm always up for make new friends too. I'm pretty social and easygoing in general.

I love music and I'm currently into punk rock though I dabble in other rock, inidie, and dubstep, as well as some rap. I also enjoy playing guitar in my free time, though I'm not great at it, haha. And I'm always down for a good punk concert.

Other than that, I'm also a bit of a tech guy - I'm always trying to find new fun things to do with my phone, computer, or game systems and I've definitely voided more than my fair share of warranties.

My attitude towards life is to meet everyone, try everything, and to always be the best person you can be.

I am terrible at picking favorites.

Music - Punk (pop-punk, orgcore, post hardcore, ska, you get the idea), rock, indie, rap, dubstep/electronic, instrumental, pop. Some favorites are The Menzingers, Masked Intruder, La Dispute, Hot Water Music, Fake Problems, Immortal Technique, Elk Road.

Movies - Comedy, action, suspense, horror, noir, art. some favorites right now are Marvel's recent great run of superhero movies (and some DC too), works by David Cronenberg, Tarantino flicks, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (good neo-noir), and tons of other movies!

Books - Garth Nix books for fantasy, House of Leaves or Jack Ketchum books for horror, Calvin and Hobbs for Sunday mornings strips, I need to read more.

Currently doing it - spending 3.5 months abroad in Germany and loving it! I got a paid internship through the RISE-DAAD program for scientists and engineers. Ask me about it if you want to know more :)

Strange section, but I'm pretty handy in general. Got something that needs fixing? Computer/electronics that need troubleshooting? I might be able to lend a hand! With some advanced noticed in the US, I can bring along tools for phone repairs, if you have the parts.

If I'm still in Europe, why not explore your hometown with me? I usually try to walk around and see the major sights and maybe stop at a museum or two. And, of course, this time of the year in Germany, I usually stop at the local Christmas Market too.

I can also play a couple of songs on guitar if you have one but, be warned, I'm not great.
