Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met a lot of people who have hosted and surfed and really enjoyed the experience, so I am hoping to do both in the near future!
Interests
I spend a lot of my time thinking about food, and now I've started writing about it. Right now I'm reading Blood, Bones and Butter by Gabrielle Hamilton.
I am involved with Slow Food Canada, an international organization trying to make food good, clean and fair for eaters, farmers, and everyone inbetween.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to read, read, read, all the time. Books: Fall on Your Knees by Ann Marie MacDonald, and Danny, Champion of the World by Roald Dahl.
My favourite movie is Amelie. A few of bands I like are the Rural Alberta Advantage, Tegan and Sara, Okkervil River and the Gossip.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling with my friends has led me to some amazing moments. It was amazing to stand at the top of the Duomo in Florence looking over the city after climbing so many stairs. It was pretty amazing to stand underground in the old vaults of Edinburgh in the dark. It was amazing to eat street food in the bright sunshine in Central Park out in the sheep meadow with hundreds of other people.
