Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I planned to do a cycling tour in Ukraine from Kiev to Odessa, but I didn't know how long it would take. So I thought, may I could find a couch in Odessa (had heard about CS) and I don't need to book an acommondation in advance (day of arrival was actually not fixed ...). At the end I stayed in a hostel, but I met a lot of locals and travelers via CS, it was my best traveling experience.
