I haven't hosted here since my house was completely gutted and there were a lot of roommates and music and adventures. There were so many amazing times and couchsurfers. Then I lived here alone for a couple years working with a lot of talented people to rebuild the house. Now it's an operating guesthouse (1234housepdx.com) with each room created by a different artist. My main job these days is to make beds and keep a good house. People pay for the rooms. But I have a tent in the back yard you can use or a non-shared mattress in the attic where I sleep. Or you can feel free to get in touch if you want to come over for an afternoon coffee/beer or want to use a shower.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first started hosting when I worked in Lima, Peru, in 2008 writing about menopause, Strange year. But that's when I was first introduced to this community and how it interacts on many levels with my values of sharing and creativity. So here we are.

Best day is strolling around with someone who likes to talk and joke doing a bunch of different and unexpected things.
