ABOUT ME

I'm Italian, 31 years old, now living in Brazil.
In 2009 I started living the way I wanted. I've lived in Australia for nearly 3 years. I met my husband there and with him decided to leave Sydney and backpacking around Southeast Asia for 8 months and this literally changed my life.
I am now owner of a Food Truck (www.facebook.com/zingarafoodtruck) on a beautiful island!

PHILOSOPHY

Don't follow any mentality. Forget about stereotypes. Reset your brain and start thinking about what you really want without worrying about what people think. Don't postpone. Be good and generous with others because 'giving' is the most rewarding feeling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed many couches during my trips in Australia, Asia and Brazil and always had remarkable experiences! In some places CS really made the difference!
Unfortunately my current apartment is too small to host anyone but in case of emergency we can arrange something. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Australia, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia and Brazil! I've always had a great time during my stays and I believe that some CS hosts can make your trip and get you to know the place in a much better way! I don't like jumping from hostel to hostel and I don't really enjoy places full of tourists!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Comedy, action, suspense, documentaries.

Music: Reggae, new hits on the radio, Italian and Brazilian music.

Books: I've read lots of novels and fantasy books in the past but now I'm more into books about the mind, I really like Eckart Tolle and Larry Winget. I also read many things about Financial Education.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I lived in Sydney
- I've dived the Great Barrier Reef in Australia
- I risked my life crossing a cave in Sagada, in Philippines
- I had an all-you-can-eat at a Chocolate Bar on top of the Marina Sand Bay, in Singapore
- I've been in Koh Ta Kiev, in Cambodia
- I volunteered at a Mindful Farm in Chiang Mai, Thailand
- I hitchhiked and slept in a hammock through Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia and Sri Lanka
- I swam with giant turtles and sharks in Perhenthian Islands, in Malaysia
- I've done a 10 Days Vipassana Meditation Course in Malaysia

Basically... I've given up on my ordinary life!
