ABOUT ME

Well, to start with, I found myself in a state which could probably be defined as "eternal student". Seriously, I have been studying for almost 10 years and I don't want to stop! I really enjoy my studies, especially the part of travelling with some of the expenses covered :D
Anyway, it is not only science that I love. I really enjoy travelling and discovering new things as well as simply having a delightful time somewhere in the nature.
Art is my passion, especially paintings, so I can be lost in an art museum or some church painted with stunning frescoes for hours. I am not an artist myself, but drawing is definitely one of my ways to relax and loose a track of time after a busy day. Love also theatre and live music, well OK I confess, I just like to be surrounded by beauty!
What about more practical things, I live in Vilnius with my husband Ernestas. Vilnius is a charming city with lots of green areas which we appreciate particularly. However, there is actually a plan to move to the suburbs of the city as soon as possibble so we are suuper busy with all the arrangements, but should be worth it (I hope!)
I was really lucky not to have met many people I dislike. Maybe it was just faith, or maybe I just like people in general. So, to conclude, I love meeting new people and that is the main reason why I'm on CS.

I don't know, it is difficult to describe my philosophy in one sentence because it is well, philosophy! We can talk about it :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Initially, had been using CS for surfing and hosting only. Then I discovered that CS meetings is a great opportunity to meet new and usually not just random, but rather interesting people. Thus, it is my main CS related activity today.

Movies by Mike Cahill, Bergman, Castellito, some movies of Hitckock,
Sorrentino etc. I also enjoy watching european cinema, the movies you can watch in festivals. They are somehow different than the traditional holywood production.

Music various. From jazz to rock, from classical music to house. I should add, I am terible at remembering band names!! :/

Teach, Learn, Share

I could definitely teach you chemistry.
Anyway, if you are not interested in such a thing, I think we would find ways to share experience. For example, I could teach you some basic tango or salsa steps (but only if you have no experience in this field, in contrary you should teach me!:)).
As for learning, I am interested in almost everything.
