ABOUT ME

there is a picture of me at 1yr old, my stuffed animals under my arms and my passport clutched in one chubby hand. there also a picture of me doing this not too long ago.

my friends are my family and my family are my friends, we play together, music, dancing and food is usually involved.

i am in my element in the ocean, sea kelp beds tickling my feet, dolphins and otters sharing the waves with me, sunrises and sunsets, warm sand and salty hair.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

driving in a converted school bus from florida to costa rica sleeping in the houses of farmers, walking through muddy waist deep puddles to hang up hammocks in a mango orchard in northern brazil, breakfasting in an indian hunting lodge in gujurat, sleeping in the hallway of a squat in barcelona, asados in argentina, playing cards with the great grandfather in a houseboat in the pantanal, hitching through europe and walking across the borders

books are lovely in early mornings and late nites, at coffee shops and long voyages, for breakfast and lunch, and as entrees too. i am fickle about poetry. right now i am reading alex haley's, roots.
