ABOUT ME

I'd like to travel as much as I possibly can before it's too late and get some good memories and make some great friends along the way. It's all about the experiences and learning something new.

I'm an easy going, laid back person, yet outspoken and honest. I like to have a laugh and enjoy the company of good friends, and perhaps a good meal and a film. I go out, but not as much as when I was younger, and more when the weather is nice, like in the summertime. I am very tidy, and my flat is quite retro. Not big, but big enough for me, and clean and warm, which is important. I have sheets and towels for anyone who stays on my couch, and would prefer that over sleepingbags. I normally have a fully stocked fridge and cupboard to accommocate herbivores and carnivores alike. However, if anything is missing, there is a supermarket 5 minutes away.
I also have two friendly cats to keep you company.

Music: All types, depending on what mood I'm in. Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Doors, Iron and Wine, Beth Orton, Blind Melon, Counting Crows, Ed Harcourt, Jose Gonzalez, RHCP, White Stripes, Gillian Welsh to mention a few. I'm open to all sorts of music and would like to learn more about smaller, local bands when I'm out travelling.

Books: Rum Diary and Kingdom of Fear by Hunter S Thompson, Catcher in the Rye, To kill a Mockingbird, The Bell Jar, Scar Tissue autobiography by Anthony Kiedis etc.

Movies: Anything Almodovar and Lynch. Worked in a cinema, love watching movies, anything will do.

I studied Silversmithing and Metalwork at university but haven't practised it for 3 years. I love to create things and always make things for my friends. I also love to cook and experiment with food.
