ABOUT ME

We are easy going people who like fun. We have been already in many European countries, where we stayed mostly by our friends. I (Eva) did my studies in an international place; hence we have friends throughout the whole Europe. However, now we would like continue in broadening of our borders.
I am an "animal" person and I studied behaviour of birds. Right now I am at the maternal leave.
My boyfriend Radek has the same interest in travelling. He works in the clinical studies.
Our child Barunka is already a big girl (4 years old). She loves traveling and enjoys a good sleep in any place. She is really calm and sleeps whole night through. Because we travel a lot, she has no problem with new places.

We have a baby Vitek (9 months old). It is no problem to travel with him, too. However, we do not travel nowadays.

We all like music. I like folk, jazz, world music and classical music. Radek is more into Rock. But we can actually listen to almost everything except country. I also like to play instruments. I learned to play piano, saxophone and guitar. However, nowadays I only play guitar and sing. Contrary to my musical skills, Radek says that nobody would make him to sing, because he does not have any musical sense.

We both love cooking and pretty much enjoy cooking with our international friends wherever we come. And of course, we love to travel and to acknowledge new places and people!

Music, Movies, and Books

Eva:
Movies: the last movie which really touched me was Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Otherwise I love fairytails even at this age :-D.
Music: I love music and like to listen to folk, jazz and classical music. I really hate country and do not like punk. Otherwise I listen to everything. From international things I appretiate at the very last moment Putamayo-presents collection of worldmusic and Carmina Burana.
Books: Since being at New Zealand I tried New Zealand literature. However, I must admit that it was interesting but not so capturing for me. I really love book One Hundred Years of Solitude by G.G. Marquez.

Radek:
Movies: I like comedies, thrillers but also appreciate something more serious.
Music: Rock music is best! :-D I am a big fan of a German group Rammstein and a Czech group Cechomor playing folk songs in a Rock design.
Books: Unlike Eva who cannot read or see a horror I love scary books. Stephen King is my favourite and his book "It" is great.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are plenty of them. But the freshest one from travelling is probably visiting New Zealand. Now we are excited by watching development of our doughter.

Teach, Learn, Share

Both of us love cooking. If you are interested in some simple Czech meal, write us a message that you would like to taste it during hosting us. Once you let us to use your kitchen, we can cook something for you.

We have quite a vast knowledge about most European countries. Particularly we can give you very good tips for travelling in Czech Republic and the Netherlands where we spent longer time and crissed crossed them. We also spent six months at New Zealand, so this is our first non-European country we can speak about. We can give you tips on both nature and culture.

Eva plays guitar and sings and both of us like to listen to other people playing and singing. So if you want to acknowledge Czech songs and have a guitar, we will be excited to share a musical evening.

Radek playes tennis pretty well, but it would be probably hard to play it during one night :-D. He also used to practise carate, however I (Eva) have never seen him to do it.

Barunka can teach you how to look at the world with joy and smile. How everything can be new and entertaining. She can also teach one how to eat and sleep well ;-).
