About Me
CURRENT MISSION
finishing my master-studies of "Applied Cultural Studies"
ABOUT ME
I went to elementary school in my homevillage (at the boarder to Salzburg City), to a Private School (catholic highschool), commercial college, joined the army (mountain infantry and air surveillance) for some months, started studying Geography in Salzburg, changed to Klagenfurt to study Applied Cultural Studies and Geography there and additionally absolved the training to become an ambulance woman at the Red Cross of Klagenfurt.
I am usually very calm, polite, idealistic and careful. I see a great priority in respect for others and tolerace of different ideas and attitudes. I see cultural differences as an enrichment (and positive challange sometimes), and I enjoy intercultural conversation. For the last years, I've been tutoring students of foreign countries to introduce them to their new place of living here in Klagenfurt. These are very precious contacts to me, they gave me the best chances to learn something useful for my life (and studies).

Music, Movies, and Books
I definitely see my priority in reading books ;-) :
travelguides, textbooks (foreign languages), dictionaries (so useful ;-) ),journals and magazines related to geographical topics and due to my studies a lot of literature: "Die Ursache" (Thomas Bernhard), "Kassandra" (Christa Wolf), "Tales of Mystery and Imagination" (Edgar Allan Poe), "Freedom and Death" (Nikos Kazantzakis), "Poetik" (Aristoteles), ...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
2000 on the flight to London, I was allowed to stay in the Cockpit of a Brithis Airlines machine and stay there during the landing. It was wonderful to see the brithis coast approach with the white Cliffs of Kent and the Cumulonimbus clouds! (I wanted to become pilot at that time).
The Ethiopian outback was really impressive to me as well, same the style of travelling with the buses there *lol*.
The feeling and view from the peak of Mount Olympos last summer
A moonrise in Athens...never before seen the moon so red :-o
