About Me
Curiosity and interest in worlds outside of my own have lead me to a degree in Anthropology. I'm frequently frustrated with world affairs and the dominance of western powers. Having benefitted from western imperialism myself, I believe my advantageous position and access to education, should be used towards correcting, however trivial, some of these societal misbalances, particularly in my home country of Australia.
On a less serious note, these days you're my inclined to find me at a pub drinking Melbourne's finest craft beer whilst watching my beloved Western Bulldogs play AFL, than at the club knee deep in my own sweat. Don't get me wrong, I love a boogie, particularly to techno or tech house, working weekends in hospitality just prevents how often I get to do it.
Travelling is literally the only thing I seem to be able to save money for. No inanimate object could ever compete with the experiences that I've had in my past endeavours, but I'm sure thats no revelation to those on couchsurfing.com.
