About Me

MY PHILOSOPHY
"I travel not to escape life but for life not to escape me"
I just love this quote!
Traveling is my life. My backpack is always ready. ✈

"Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.” Maya Angelou.
She's a great inspiration to me.

ABOUT ME
My many and diverse travel experiences have taught me perseverance, flexibility and the ability to improvise. Moreover, I've become more self-aware, open-minded, confident and resourceful. I also learned to go with the flow, to be less materialistic and to adapt quickly.
I am a very outgoing person who loves and enjoy the simple pleasures in life.
I am also very caring, thoughtful, honest and trustworthy.
I am a old soul and I am very calm.
I really enjoy cooking. I believe it's one of the most relaxing activities in the world.
I enjoy all kind of arts. I am always drawing or painting.
I love to read with a good cup of coffee ️ or with a great matcha tea
I like to take on a variety of challenges and to learn from others.
Travelling is my favourite hobby. I love to share experiences and to meet with other travellers from all over the world.
I can host you for 2 nights, or more, if you need. If you have any questions, I would be very happy to help you out.
I will welcome you in Montreal, like an old friend. I can't wait to meet you!
Please, feel free to message me with suggestions and ideas
I'd love to share a coffee ️ with you

See you soon!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to visit new places with the local people as it's always more interesting and I learn so much more. The best way to really appreciate a new culture is to experience it. I really enjoy welcoming travellers from abroad and to discover new countries by sharing its inhabitants' daily lives. I love travelling with only a backpack. I have a green lifestyle and it's very important for me to travel in a sustainable way. I am always willing to learn from other cultures, to go beyond my comfort zone and to challenge myself. I believe that is important to acknowledge cultural differences in order to show the community the respect it deserves.
I'm a dedicated person, in my daily life, but also when I'm travelling. It's important for me to do my part when I'm travelling because I believe in making the world a better place. I like to learn and to share knowledge about sustainable solutions on environmental issues. I also care about children, human rights, social action, poverty alleviation, social and health services. I'd be happy to volunteer within your community.
I have hosted some travallers and it's always been a great experience. I have met some amazing persons. I am really grateful to have met wonderful travellers, who are as fond of life and travels as I am.
Meeting new people is my way of life. People are like books. I want to know your story !

Interests

Swimming, hiking, dancing, food, music, motorcycles, yoga, Qi Gong, Taichi, meditation,....the list goes on and on :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I really like to teach and to share my passion about martial arts and the Chinese philosophy. If you want to learn some basic movements of QiGong, I would be very happy to teach you. I also speak French. If you want to practice or to learn a new language, it would be my pleasure to teach you my language and to share my culture with you.
I will take some days off when you arrive. I will introduce you to the best places in Montreal. My family is also very welcoming. You may have the chance to meet them, too.
I will welcome you in Montreal, like an old friend. I wish you have an amazing travel experience in Montreal.
If you have any questions about Montreal or the province of Quebec, I will do my best to give you the best answers and some advice. If you need someone to pick you up, just let me know. I will also introduce you to the local public transportation. After spending a day with me, you should be comfortable enough to go around in Montreal.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like an opportunity to experience life in your country because I believe it's the best way to understand a new culture. I would be very happy to volunteer within your community. I like to learn about new languages and cultures. If you want to teach me about something you are passionate about, I would be happy to hear everything about it. If you can spend time with me and show me around, that would be great. However, I understand if you are not available, so don't worry. To show you how grateful I am to be in your home, I will cook for you and your friends.
