CURRENT MISSION

I am currently having an exchange year in Down Under as a teacher's aide. While travelling around during school holidays, I'm looking for opportunities to check out couch surfing.

ABOUT ME

After a couple of years experience in my profession, I decided to have a gap year and that's how I came to Australia some weeks ago. I've now a job as a teachers aide. I live at least at 4 different places, which include 3 host families and the boarding house of the school I work for. That's how I discovered: being a globetrotter and moving from place to place suits me. It's exciting and you never now what happens the next day, so the words adventures & spontaneous would be a match I reckon... I thougth about being a flight attendant before I came here, but the desire to visit dream country Down Under won definitively (good friends of mine come from here; met them overseas).
In my freetime I love going to the beach, for a bike ride, enjoying live music, going out to the reef and I'd like to go for a scuba diving certificate during my stay in Down Under.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I just signed in... An aussie friend of mine told me about her experiences with couch surfing, so I'd love to check that out too while I'm hoping around during school holidays!

Interesses

swimming, kayaking, cooking, music, different languages, travelling (just started to explore all the places :)), will have a try on scuba diving and surfing in Down Under :))

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Kayaking at the Whitsundays, hiking in the Swiss mountains and climb the peaks, grabed my car and drove to France for a holiday spontaneously, bush trips on the Philippines and stayed in bamboo villages over night, couch surfing in Australia... Guess there'll be even lots of more stuff to add after my gap year. :)

I teach junior school students, learn from other teachers there, share a home (boarding house) with almost 100 teens!! ;)
