Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Till now, I haven't used it that much as a surfer/host (don't really have the facilities at the moment) - rather as a means of connecting with people when living abroad, or being a tour guide for travelers who visit my city, or a (hopefully) nice coffee/beer-companion.... Although I myself cannot host at the moment, I try to connect people who address me with friends of mine who might have a couch available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until now, I only had positive experiences - although I must say that I don't have that many hosting/surfing experiences, I much more use it for meeting and being met. CS is a wonderful idea and it definitely enriches my life by the people I got to know through it! Of course, sometimes I met people only once and that's it (which is also perfectly ok!) - but sometimes I met people with whom I'm still in contact up to the present day; some of them I'd even call friends by now! That's just great! :)

Interests

My interests are definitely widespread. This is displayed by a big variety of holiday jobs I did or also by my several studies. I'm much interested in people as such, the psychology of humans, the behavior, why people do what they do and are who they are... I guess this is connected to my passion for traveling, i.e. meeting lots of different people. CS is perfect in providing me with "material" :D Apart from that, I love photography, reading, singing, dancing...
