About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To scratch the itch of the travel bug
ABOUT ME
I'm a young woman in my 20's who enjoys wearing bright colors and neat styles, rocking tunes from decades ago and in my free time I love reading, creating new culinary delights, wine and cheese and dancing it up. I've been putting off travelling for far too long, even though I've been planning it since grade 9 :P
In Sept. 2010 I'm headed for NZ for a working holiday visa and I am so excited to begin my journey.
PHILOSOPHY
When I was much younger I wondered a lot about why we are here, but through growing experience and in turn wisdom I've realized that I'd rather be something than nothing, I do believe that we're only garunteed to live once, so I'm going to make the most of it while the light is still switched on for Eve.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far, I'm truly quite new to this organization. However, I love meeting new people, I'm a bit of a talker and being from East Coast canada know the meaning of solid hometown hospitality.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've only had a few friends explain what a great site this is, but I'm eager to be a part of hosting and surfing.
Interests
Obviously travel, however I enjoy a bottle of good wine (wrapped in a brown paper bag, or a crystal glass it makes no difference to me) with some sharp cheese and members of the family I've choosen for myself along my travels through Canada.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 17 I took the first adult trip of my life, to British Columbia and spent picking cherries under the hot sun, growing and learning from those around me in love and life. It may not seem amazing, but it changed my life forever into the person I am.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think the best piece of life experience I can share is to not lose to much faith in humanity. Its always when you least expect it that life will throw you a curve ball and something truly compassionate will come your way.
