CURRENT MISSION

I like to travel and get to know new people and cultures. Since I have been teaching in Guatemala for two years I'm really looking for travel experiences beyond the beaten path. I am truly grateful for the way people accepted and respected me from the beginning. From the very first moment I've loved interacting with locals and I would like to keep doing that during my travels.

I can't wait to return the favor and show people around and give them the chance to get to know my culture too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I learned about CS was in Vietnam. It was such a good experience and so nice to be shown around in a place where you don't even speak the language. I would like to gather more experiences because I believe CS is a grear way to travel around, see places and make friends for life.

Interests

My greatest passion is of course traveling. I have been living in Guatemala so I've traveled around some. I have also been to El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. I have seen a tiny bit of Mexico, so that's next on my list. I love socializing and having a drink and talk with friends. I'm also into reading (english or dutch) and sometimes I write.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is very unspecified, altho I really appreciate banda, cumbia and reggeaton sometimes. I also like indie and rock. My favorite artist is Bruce Springsteen.
