I am Eva, the first woman, they say. Haha, nope, just a regular girl :) When working I am so called IT specialist - I have experience mainly with Oracle Databases. I was also working as a Team Lead recently. When not working I would like to be a traveler and I am trying to be such as more as I can. I found people very interesting and love to speak with them. There are so many different points of view, and I believe the key to live in piece and make our world nicer place, is to try understand each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whether I am travelling alone or not, I do want to meet people and make new friends. I truly believe that you can not say that you have seen a country, if you haven't "seen" the local people. Besides, local folks can give you the best advice about the area they live. I also believe people who are involved in Couch surfing need to be open-minded and therefor worth to speak with. :)

Interests

My big love are mountains. That's why I usually choose countries where I can go hiking, but not only. I can as well enjoy cities and other natural beauties. I also love animals of any kind and that's why a decade ago I decided to be a vegetarian. However, I don't mind other choices of life because every person has the freedom to decide on his/her own. During winter time in Bulgaria I usually spend my weekends snowboarding.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot and usually asking people what was the last book they liked, so I can read it as well. I like almost all kind of genres. I am only struggling with Fantastic. Still looking for a person to recommend me good book in that area, so I can explore it as well. I haven't had TV for 10 years and watching a movie is something that I do after recommendation as well. Recently, I discovered that I like anime after watching "Avatar the last airbender" which is in my opinion a very good series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently I went to Nepal alone. More experienced travelers won't consider this to be so amazing, but for me it is. I also climbed 5416m pass, had 17 hours day of hiking ones, went snowboarding on a place which is so steep that I never thought you can do winter sports there... I have also survived 5 years in the corporate world, which is in my opinion pretty amazing :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my experience of hiking or snowboarding, travelling experience from the places I have been. I can speak a lot about Bulgaria and places where you can go here. Also, I can share smiles and friendly attitude. :)
