ABOUT ME

What you see is what you get :o)

PHILOSOPHY

Yesterday is history and tomorrow is a mystery. Seize the day! Go with the flow :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After a year of traveling I met so many people, saw so many nice places, enjoyed living and now I want to return the favor. A random act of kindness, be the change you want to see in the world!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a great experience with Hary in Indonesia and Angela in Bali, Met some people in Aussie, went to Hong Kong to meet the lovely Robertson family and Gary... Met random couchsurfers all over the place, and seriously, it's a really great concept!

Interests

Everything except watching sports on television! ;)
I prefer DOING the sports, but no I'm not a great atlethe. Also photography, training (or playing with) dogs (or other animals), cooking, volunteering and travelling! And many many more things!! I'm a bit of a multifunctional girl :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Let's see... tv: thrillers, romantic love stories (oooohhhh), comedies, CSI :) FRIENDS!!! And Disney classics, Alladin, Beauty and the Beast, the Lion King :) Pocahontas!
Music: everything they play on the radio, pop music, sing along songs (not specifically the disney ones)
And books, I don't read a lot but the best book I've read lately was in Dutch, 'de vliegeraar' from Khaled Hosseini. The timer game was also a really really good book, just read it in three days! And currently I love the Dan Brown books!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best adrenaline rush was jumping out of an airplane!
Breath taking was being on the pico de Orizaba in Mexico, more than 4000m, literally breath taking because I couldn't move without fainting :s But great experience!!
Oh, the best day of my life - so far - was in Canada, with the huskies in the snow and the forest, quiet, all you hear is crushing snow and breathing doggies :)
The best night of my life was up in a treehouse in Laos, in the middle of the jungle, caught in the middle of a thunderstorm! And also the Gibbon Experience!
And I love sunsets! And watching the stars!
I pretty much learned to enjoy all the small things in life as well now so it's hard to think about the extravagant ones!

Teach, Learn, Share

Every opportunity I get I will take to learn something new, from playing an instrument to learning a new language or developing an art. Teach me teach me teach me!
And I'll teach you all about dogs and their behaviour :) Or share some good recipees. Or tell you all about my travels... Elaborate on the awsome town I live in - I'm very proud of Gent! Anything I can do to make your stay more pleasant, I will!
