Overview
About Me
- “To study the Way is to study the self; to study the self is to forget the self; to forget the self is to be actualized by myriad things. When actualized by myriad things, your body and mind, as well as the body and mind of others, drop away. No trace of realization remains and this no-trace continues endlessly. ” - Dogen
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Although I’ve been working with people for almost a decade and I kinda lost the energy and my charisma for new acquaintances, I still love making new but meaningful connections.
Also cuz I like to help people explore the area and just make their stay more pleasant.
…Plus, to be honest, I could use your couch to save some money 😅 Mind if I crash there?
***I don’t live alone but one day I will definitely offer a place to stay! *Promise*

Music, Movies, and Books
I haven't watched many cult movies, and I'm okay with that. It's a point of connection when I meet fellow movie enthusiasts who appreciate European & Asian or better said non Hollywood cinematography & old, deep, poetic movies that are sometimes seen as boring by many.
Going against the stream is my thing but I do believe I should watch those famous Hollywood movies. Don’t ask me which ones (you will find out eventually…and you will be shocked).
. - - Finally, I like movies to the point that I don't feel like I've wasted those two hours of my life.
When it comes to music, I love broadening my musical tastes, exploring genres like Dub, Stoner rock, Krautrock, Trip Hop, Electronic, RnB, Pop, Ambiental, and Atmospheric music. I also find solace in listening to Mantras and Buddhist Sutras. Despite being a former Metal addict, I now appreciate moments of silence. During quiet weeks, I often tune into healing sounds, frequencies, or ambiental Drone and lately I’ve been into Dub Techno.
- I've always enjoyed reading and escaping into the world of imagination, but my passion for literature began in high school when I first discovered Dostoyevsky. It was love at first reading. Following that, I literally started reading constantly and stumbled upon many [particularly] French, Russian and Italian writers.Fyodor Dostoevsky and Victor Hugo could be said to have raised me.. // Dostoyevsky gave me the depths, Hugo the heights. // Now I read less but better. In the last period, I've been reading rather theory than fiction. Buddhism/philosophy/anthroposophy/astrology/
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A silent Buddhist retreat in which I spent seven days meditating and not communicating with anyone. I reached a state of mental clarity in which all of my self-concerns seemed trivial and even amusing. I didn't experience the slightest bit of self-judgment or judgment of others, only complete acceptance.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm open to discussing a wide range of topics, especially those more profound than small talk. While I enjoy sharing my thoughts, I'm also working on becoming a better listener.
On the practical side, I may not be your expert, but I could contribute by helping with languages or teaching you some Qi Gong or Tai Chi movements. Intrigued?
…..If we ever become close and I have you on my social networks, I would like to share memes with you as I find that a special kind of intimacy.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Unfortunately I can't host but I can show around since I know many nice places in Sarajevo and I work as a tour guide, therefore, I can share my knowledge and experience.
If I ever host you, I’m expecting you to cook for me. *sorrynotsorry*
