About Me
Hi There! I am excited to introduce myself. My name is Evelisa and I have been fortunate enough to know the wonders of bicycle touring. From 3 days to 3 months, I believe the ability to be connected to both the landscape and your body via this beautifully designed apparatus is one of the most exciting ways to travel. I commit to going on at least one bicycle camping tour a year, and while I have biked in my region of the world I have always dreamed of expanding my bicycle horizons and experience.
During my experiences I have always heard from other tourists for me to use Couchsurfing for bike touring. While the stars have not quite aligned this year in 2019 for me to take my bicycle abroad and start exploring Europe on bicycle as a painter, I am touring Portugal and Italy packing suitcase with a portable pack of watercolours, pencils, and ink, and paint to build a collection of sketches and little paintings along the way.
A little more about me:
I am a clean and considerate guest who doesn't smoke. I do have a cat allergy. I am also quite adaptable and a great communicator. I love to listen and consider others needs and preferences, to make a shared space comfortable for everyone. I love to cook and always happy to help in the kitchen.
I really hope to also build up my language skills in Italian. I would normally speak it with my nonna and nonno, but my fluency has gone down significantly. Please correct me and feel free to talk with me in Italian! And I will try my best!
Dietary: As a Sicilian, I have been exposed to the range in Italian cuisine - and I have heard how divine the food is in Italy. I dont eat meat, dairy, gluten, or pasta in general. But I do love all kinds of veggies and salads, seafood, eggs. Tomatoes are the best!

During my experiences I have always heard from other tourists for me to use Couchsurfing for bike touring. Well I am excited to say that the stars have aligned this year in 2019 for me to take my bicycle abroad and start with my "homeland": Italy! As a painter, I would like to make this a painting and cycling tour of the country, where I will pack my panniers with a portable pack of watercolours, pencils, and ink, and paint to build a collection of sketches and little paintings along the way.
