I just graduated from undergrad in California, and I'm trying to experience as much as the world as possible and put off getting a "real job" for as long as possible.

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, near Seattle, on a small island. This means I was constantly surrounded by forest, sea, and mountains. In college, I studied biology, with a specific focus on marine biology and climate science. Although I'm a nerd at heart, I love trying new things, drinking beers, going to concerts, and exploring new countries where I can't speak the language. I also love music. I can play the violin and two and a half songs on the ukulele. I enjoy deep conversations, ask a lot of questions, and love guacamole. I'm also weirdly good at finding four-leafed clovers.

Because couchsurfers are the best!! Generally, I've found they're more open-minded and engaged people. I also like having more personal and intimate experiences when I travel.
