About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to combat social exclusion, create and foster a spirit of understanding among the peoples of diferent cultures and life style, to face my fears and be creative
ABOUT ME
I like art and culture and I'm open to the world. Spontaneity, sincerity and social engagement are values that are dear to me.
My bike is my freedom, I appreciate festive evenings, beers of local microbrewery and good wine. Since I was young, I am indignant about injustice and violation of human rights. During the last 15 years, I get involved in different social and cultural projects that open my mind and gave me de liberty to explore my creativity: community radio, political and social theater, international solidarity experiences in Bolivia, Peru and Cuba, World Social Forum and other such local workshops. Those experiences gave me the chance to meet people en groups who try to create an alternative life style.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to meet people and travel in simplicity. I did a trip in BC and met good people by couchsurfing or hostel international. I like to share interests and discover local and underground places.
Interests
Social movements, global socio-environmental challenges, artistic and intercultural intervention, popular education, travels, theater, music, dance, hiking, camping...
Way of mental escape:
When I'm in town: dance, dance and dance: blues, salsa, forro, samba, afrocuban and African dance. I also like traditional music from Quebec: gigue and set dancing are the first dances I learned when I was 14 years old. And now, I learn swing!
When I have the opportunity to leave the city, I enjoy doing activities like camping, hiking, canoeing and bike rides.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After hanging the bike for hours in the gravel uphill slopes, we got sweaty at a campsite near a lake we wanted to visit. No place. Everything was booked. One guy shipped our bikes in his pick up and bring us sleep in Tipys 15 minutes away. Happiness and relief!
I remember cooked potatoes and fish with Peruvian women in an oven that I made with them in the heart of the valley Sacquahuaman and making kites with their children.
