To travel around the world by train

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty friendly and adventurous and like to do interesting things, including long overland trips by train. I am a musician (fiddler/violinist), music teacher, music researcher and general thinker about culture. I'm pretty easy going and generally outgoing, but a bit quiet in groups. I love cats and dogs and nature. I can hold a pretty interesting converesation (i'm told) and I love to meet and learn about new people and places.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This summer (2012) we'll be away couch surfing and traveling all the way around the globe by train. I will be mainly traveling with my partner Peter. We're happy to host when we return home. We (my husband Peter Duchemin and I) are performers and love to play fiddle and/or perform a few magic tricks for our hosts and their friends :-) a little thank you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to couch surfing but I'm excited to try it. I love to meet people and keep in touch. Meeting people is what travel is all about!

Interessen

I love to do ancient tourism, we (my husband peter and I) like to seek out old pre-historic temples and stone circles and sacred natural places. We're fascinated by spiritual places both indoors and outside (though we're not religious). I love music and people watching. I don't always run around trying to see all the sights. Somedays I prefer just sit and watch people pass by.
