One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

With no prior backpacking and camping experience and minimal hiking experience, I did a 5 day, 4 night hike in Patagonia Chile, the W-trek in Torres del Paine with a full-pack and hiking boots that were not broken in. I lost a toenail a month after the trip. It was both a beautiful and painful experience. I would do it again.
