Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I created my account a long while back because I loved the concept of couchsurfing. Because I'm an anxious idiot I didn't end up using it for about 4 years because I was scared of traveling. Let's hope it helps me get out of my shell one day.

Interests

I love learning new things and cooking new things. I'm a little bit of a gamer, but no hardcore stuff. I can spend a whole day stuck in a game, but that's another story.
I like music - a lot of electronic music these days, movies - sci-fi and silly teenage films, games - many, books - mostly sci-fi, and food - food is my best friend! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love science fiction all around. Time travel, future. Murakami is my favourite. I'm not much of a fan of fantasy, but if you can teach me the beauties of it I might end up liking it.
I used to listen to a lot of rock and metal music, but I fell into the trap of electronic music lately. It has its magic.
I'm a big bookworm (psst I'm on goodreads). I love reading sci-fi, and weird things like Douglas Adams or Neil Gaiman. I'm sure we can recommend books to each other. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To be honest I think myself a very boring person. I started painting a few years back and managed to sold some paintings, but that's about it and I don't think that's amazing anyway. I find it quite amazing that I managed to graduate with a BA. Wow amazing, right?
