About Me

Current mission:

Finding my place in the world.

Philosophy:

Good food, good trips, good mood.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why am I here? Well, the idea of being able to meet people from all around the world is really exciting. Either hosting or staying at their place, or maybe just meeting for a drink or two, I think that this is the best way to be really in contact with the culture of each place.

I believe in solo travel, and enjoy it a lot, but also believe in being in contact with people because that's one of the best ways to learn about a place. Additionally, I am really talkative, so I love to have a good conversation with everyone!

Interests

Travel, obviously. I'm into photography, design (all kinds of), other kinds of visual arts, music (I enjoy listening to different kinds of music), drinking coffee, eating local cuisine, reading, tattoos...well, just ask!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Todo sobre mi madre (I love Almodovar's films), Fight Club, American History X, Harry Potter (I grew up reading the books), The Lord of the Rings, Across the Universe, Frida, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain.

Books: The Unbearable Lightness of Being, the Harry Potter series, Le Petit Prince, and more.

Music: really all kinds of. In my iPod you can find artists like Björk, Evanescence, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Tori Amos, Madonna, Dido and many others, but I am always eager to know new musicians.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting lost on my own around Europe.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: photography, everyday mexican food cuisine (not just tacos guys!), Spanish.

Learn: French and how to draw (I've tried for centuries now, but it's just impossible for me to draw something "acceptable" :S)

Share: whatever you want. A nice talk, a cup of coffee or maybe a good beer, a walk by the streets of the city where we meet and even some Mexican treats I can bring with me :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

The main thing, I guess, is Mexican culture. I can share with you details about the way we live in my beautiful, and chaotic, country.

Whate else?

Whatever you want!

*I will most likely have some delicious Mexican treats in my bag to share :P
