Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After joining couchsurfing quite some time ago, I've been a completely inactive member.... but now that is going to change! I think I'm ready now...

I will sometimes be able to offer a place to sleep, a tasty meal (vegetarian/vegan) and if I'm free I can show you around Brighton, introduce you to people etc.

Have not been using CouchSurfing recently due to the nature of travelling without a 'device.' Throughout the countries we've travelled internet cafe's are being shut down due to the ever increasing prevalence of WIFI!

Interests

Travel, books, nature, exploring the great outdoors, mountains and rivers! the beach and the sea! wild camping, kayaking/canoeing, photography, picnics. Walking everywhere; cycling everywhere else! Drinking tea! Vegetables! I love cooking and eating; making feasts for friends! Live music and festivals, good times with good people in good places!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love getting lost in the world of fantasy novels! along with lots of travel literature at the moment and much more - I enjoy books that are thought-provoking, inspiring, life-changing and learn so much from reading! always got a pile of books in a queue waiting patiently to be read!

Ahh music :) yes please. Vast quantities of it in many different styles. Especially enjoy a lot of dub punk, reggae and ska, a fair bit of folk, some rock, prog, and a generous squeeze of electronica.

Films can be great too but I'm not going to make a list here.

I'd love to learn more about alternative ways of living. Earthship building! Other languages. Simply interacting with other human beings.
