About Me
UPDATE:
I am going to unsubscribe from Couchsurfing for the time being, but you can still contact me on Facebook (search for Evelīna Rimkuse) if you wish to stay with me or just hang out. Currently I am only available to host women. My interests nowadays have expanded to learning more about wine, health (ironic, I know), relationships and financial freedom. I would love to meet new friends to exchange thoughts and ideas with, but also go on spontaneous adventures and re-discover my city!
A hopeless nature-romantic originally from Latvia, now living in Sweden. I adore the rawness that nature offers, and so I also tend to love genuine and honest people(and strive to be one myself too).
I play several instruments, dance folk-dances, and prioritize reading over my practicing way too often.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am constantly curious, and would love to meet locals in places I visit, and get to know about the traditions or some secret gems around the area. Besides that, I have also discovered that hosting is just as wonderful as surfing, and so spending time together, chatting with and getting to know my fellow travelers is one of life's many pleasures.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love everything from moshing at metal shows to sucking in mind-blowing classical music at concert halls. Anything that shows the soul of the artist will do.
When it comes to movies, I tend to like mind-bending films(this includes space-themed movies as well), which make me question my own existance. I also like a good comedy(or a bad one, I laugh at anything), cartoons, and dramas.
Books are a passion, so it's really hard to pick a favourite genre, or even worse, a favourite writer. My heart belongs to fiction just as much as it does to any scientific or biographical work. Reading Instagram captions can be sligthly amusing too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked 10 last km of a 62km route with a blister in the diameter of 3,5cm. It was pure hell.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could name several things here, but in the end, I believe it all comes down to time and company. Nothing teaches one more than a conversation with someone, especially a stranger, and neither is there anything more valuable to share than time. So let's share and learn!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Anything from a pleasant conversation to a lasting friendship. I'd be happy to share my life experiences in exchange of hearing yours!
