I'm an avid outdoorswoman with a career in travel. My spare time is most often spent on a trail, river, or beach and I'm always in pursuit of new experiences. Different cultures are best experienced by getting to know locals rather than just seeing the most popular sights.

I love whitewater rafting, sitting on ledges, and introducing non-Californians to breakfast burritos. Huge fan of terrible puns, total sucker for a sunset, and I can't even pretend to know the first thing about beer - but I'm super down to go get one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I'm not currently in a position to host, I've met some of my greatest friends though CS groups and it continues to bring me in contact with more and more interesting people. I love this organization and how it opens doors for people to gain unique and personal experiences.

There have been many, but perhaps my favorite life story is from a somewhat drunken night at a tiny locals kind of bar in Galway...no point in writing it out here when we could chat about it in person though!
