About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To treat everyone the way I wish to be treated! Live life to the fullest :)

ABOUT ME

First and foremost I love life. I guess a close second is my love for culture and life around the world. That's the main reason I love this whole network! And of course...TRAVEL! How could I forget?

To think that at a moments notice I can just pack a bag and be anywhere else in the world within 24 hours is an unbelievable thought. As you can tell, I love to travel. Unfortunately (because I'm a student) I don't have much time - or $$ - but it is still a passion of mine :)

I really don't like "summing myself up" in a paragraph, but I guess I'll try my best. Overall I'm a fun-loving girl, who wants nothing more than to enjoy life! In my mind, you should give everything your best shot, try not to be too shy, and most importantly...Do it all with a smile on your face. Because after all, we're in this together. You know, this "game" we call LIFE.

One more thing...Try to have few or no regrets. Because the positive outlook on the future and that of past experiences, is what makes it all worthwhile!

PHILOSOPHY

My favorite and least favorite question. It just depends on the day. Haha.

I have my ideas, and enjoy hearing others', but to have long drawn out debates on which are more "correct" than other just frustrate me. Personal philosophies are just that: PERSONAL! Just keep an open mind (I know I do), and learn from others. But don't go around trying to impose your views on the world. That's just not fun for anybody...At least I don't think it is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I'm still pretty new to CS. My boyfriend is too, but hopefully during our trip we will have our first few surfing experiences. Unfortunately we're not able to host in Rome, but as soon as we get back we'll be sure to have surfers in PHILLY! I'm really excited about all of the people we'll be meeting. What a great concept.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As you can see, nothing yet. But as it comes I'll be sure to update it all here!!!

Interests

Travel is obviously right at the top of the list. That having been said, it wouldn't be fair to you to list all of my interests. So here we go with a condensed version of my MAIN interests...

Other than travel of course, they are: (In no specific order)

Music - All kinds but mostly country
Singing/dancing - Usually in private though, haha
COOKING - And then of course eating it after ;)
Judaism - I'm actually in the process of converting
My boyfriend - He got me into CS...Thanks ARI!!
Israel - What a beautiful country, so rich in history.
Art - I'm a bit out of practice, but I love to draw!
Nature - The perfect environment for relaxation

Yes, I know I'm missing some things, but you get the idea :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all three of these!

Movies: I love going to see comedies with my boyfriend. Step Brothers, 40-Year-Old Virgin, Super Bad, Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Those are just the new ones. Yes, I realize they're stupid, but laughter is the best cure for all of life's problems! As far as other movies go, I really liked

Music: Country, pop-rock, RnB, MEDITATION music, and the occasional rap song. Generally though, I listen to music with more of a beat when I'm working out. Rap is rare though. Haha.

Books: Anything written by Jody Picoult, Romance, hmm...And the 1,000 Places to See Before You Die book. I LOVE THAT THING!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've scuba-d with dolphins in the Red Sea (in Eilat, Israel), heard Mozart's music in Motzart's town (Vienna, Austria), loved my brother in the city of brotherly love (Philadelphia, PA), eaten an apple in the big apple (New York City, NY), been to the bottom - not the top...EEEK - of the CN Tower (Toronto, Canada), eaten pizza in a piazza (Rome, Italy), been to a Jewish wedding in a land with few Jews (Margarita Island, Venezuela), and have loved every second of of the 4 (and counting) cruises I've been on.

It may seem like a lot, but for me this is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what I'd like to see/experience around the world! But thanks to CS, I can now do that one couch at a time :)
