A man in a search for more friendship in my town, my country and possibly around the world. I honestly believe that a mind that grows cannot come back to your original size and that life is about people, about nature, about the universe and love is the only thing that put all of these things together in a happy life. I worked in a big corporate for 10 years and this semester I decided to stop for a while to search for my own satisfaction and a bigger sense for my life. That´s when I decided to travel as far as I can, with the few money that I got.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Quando você vai à um hotel ou hostel, ou quando usa o AirBNB, geralmente, você tem pouco contato com as pessoas da região. E eu odeio fazer viagem de turista padrão, visitar lugares e não conhecer pessoas. Enfim, não quero apenas a recordação de um prédio. Quero voltar com o coração cheio de boas energias que troquei no meu caminho.

It´s so hard to see people from the places that you visit when you use a Hotel, or Hostel or AirBNB. And I hate to visit places and not meet people.

My favorite Music: Punk Rock (The Clash), Alternative (Wilco) and Brazillian Music (Vinicius de Moraes, Lenine, Tom Zé and Racionais MC´s). And I love some chilling music like José Gonzalez.

My favorite Movies: Any Film of Fincher, Wes Anderson, Scorcese, Linklater, and Pixar´s Animations! I love the Brazilians "City of God" and "O Auto da Compadecida", and the Argentinian "El segredo de sus ojos." And the South Korean "OLDBOY". And the Germany "The Hunt". And the Canadians "Le decline de l´empire americain" and "Les Invasion Barbares". And the English "I, Daniel Blake". And the Cuban "Conducta". Well, you can see that I love cinema! We can talk a lot about that!

My favorite books: El libro de los Abrazos e Las Venas Abiertas de America Latina (Eduardo Galeano), Caim (José Saramago) e The Demons (Fiodor Dostoievsky).

Algo increíble que he hecho

I went to a beach called "Ponta Negra", in the frontier of the states of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. To go there I needed to camp for 3 days in different beaches and walk some miles in the jungle under the sun with all that stuff. I learned there that if you want to go further in your life, you have to carry a small bag. And some things you´ll leave behind in the way, so don´t put feelings in that. It´s just things!

I travelled more than 4000 kilometers by car from the city of São Paulo until the city of Santa Maria, in the State of Rio Grande do Sul. I gave rides for all kind of people until I got there. I learned to trust in people.
