Hello stranger that I hope someday to call friend;)

My name is Evelyn and I live in a little but explosive and beautiful city called Perth, in Western Australia.

I love travel and meeting new people. I love new experiences, sharing old stories and building new ones.

I try my best to be an open minded person. I believe I will never stop growing and learning and I want to be the best version of myself possible - I think there is always room for improvement and positive change. Part of this personal philosophy is striving to be a "good person" by my own personal standard which, for the most part, accords with the majority standard of what being "a good person" means.

I believe, being "good" is a choice to be made at every moment of life and I am conscious of choosing rightly. I try to be mindful in my thoughts and actions and realize their potential impact on my environment, my personal wellbeing and on others.

Every day I strive for harmony and try to celebrate life and nurture happiness.

I believe life is the meta journey and travel is a vehicle to fast-tracking new experiences, new friendships and personal growth.

Although I could say more here, I prefer to leave the finer and the, maybe, more "superficial" details like hobbies, music etc for a conversation later down the track.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Via couch surfing I hope to achieve a more authentic travel experience, make new friends from all over the word and experience positive personal change. I also hope to touch the lives of others and bring something interesting, different and positive to "the table", so to speak, or should I say to "the couch" ;P
