Heyho! I am a human who lives in Flensburg, a creative person with many ideas and involved in many things. I have an interest in engineering, doing stuff with my hands, learning about the world and the universe, but I also love painting and reading, cooking and baking, language and words...
I appreciate the small things and am joyous and excitable about many of those - be it a new colour for oil painting, fresh flowers coming up, singing loudly to favourite songs .... I love gardening and am quite concious about nature and the environment surrounding me, so I'm trying to make sustainable and eco-friendly choices in my everyday life :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

After finishing high school I traveled around New Zealand for a whole year. I was a wwoofer and stayed with ~15 different families/people, helping them with their gardens, kids, everyday busy life. I loved getting to know the country from the eyes of the locals and had amazing experiences. Couchsurfing is an ideal way to get back into that mind state, on a smaller scale. And it excited me to meet people from all over the place and show them my lovely town!

I love a lot of music, from Fleetwood Mac to techno to movie soundtracks... current fav song: Chelou - Out of Sight
One film that has blown me away is Arrival; another one is The Fall. Watched both of them a while ago and can't stop thinking about them.
I love books, reading and language, and it's impossible to choose just one. Le Petit Prince, His Dark Materials, The Book Thief, The Moomins....I also enjoy artist biographies and have fallen in love with poetry a while ago. Current fav poem: Kingdom Animalia by Aracelis Girmay ( https://poets.org/poem/kingdom-animalia )

I went ice skating at midnight on the frozen lakes on campus a few weeks ago, which seems surreal now.

I would be happy to paint something during my visit; I can bake vegan cookies without scales and recipe; I'm always travelling with my ukulele and can try to entertain you with the few chords that I'm able to play!
